Our coilover engine cage is built from 1.50" thick.188w 4130 chromoly tubing and welds onto the frame in three locations for maximum strength. It has a x-brace that bolts in to eliminate flexing over the engine. Our mounts locate off of pre existing bolts/holes in the frame for placement. We designed this for our 4.5" and 6.5" wider RWD I-beams and 4" wider 4WD TTB housings. This will not work with stock width suspension. Designed for a 2.5 x 14" Sway-Away coilovers or 2.5 x 12" FOX/King coilovers with 300/450 springs. Comes raw, un-powder coated. Some models require battery being relocated and the stock airbox system removed. The airbox/air filter needs to be towards the front of the engine, not off to the side. We also recommend better engine mounts from AutoFab. We highly recommend a qualified off-road shop installing this with the amount of cutting/grinding/welding/setup involved. These are made to order and take 5-6 weeks minimum to build once an order is placed with a 50% deposit. Cutting/Grinding/Welding is involved with the installation.
